Since 2005, this one-day event has brought together the broader Boulder community with neighbors of Boulder’s historic Mapleton Hill to share stories, laughter, and second chances for pre-loved items.

Returning Saturday Aug 29rd, 2026, our popular neighborhood-wide ‘rummage sale' is a Mapleton Hill tradition. It's a wonderful day of walking, biking, connecting and enjoying the 100+ year-old tree-lined streets. Bring your shopping bags, cash, and wear your walking shoes! Over 60 homes in this beautiful historic central Boulder neighborhood will host yard sales, bake sales, lemonade stands, and much more.

Streets come alive with lemonade stands, music drifting through the air, and front yards are transformed into welcoming marketplaces. It’s a time where clutter becomes opportunity, strangers become friends, and, suddenly, a simple summer Saturday is part of a meaningful community tradition rooted in sustainability and togetherness.
